How it works
Turn team building into impact with the Aprons in Action Corporate Challenge.
Bring your employees together for a fun, purpose-driven cooking competition-all from their own kitchens. Team members participate individually, building their kitchen confidence and fundraising in support of Diabetes Canada, while their totals roll up to a shared corporate team score. It’s friendly competition with real impact.
Each corporate team receives a
guaranteed minimum of three recipe submissions in the challenge, ensuring your company is represented in the People’s Choice voting round. From there, momentum grows: any team member who raises the $300 fundraising minimum unlocks the opportunity to submit their own recipe and photo, adding even more entries to your company’s total and increasing your visibility in the competition.
Diabetes Canada equips corporate teams for success by providing ready-to-use promotional tools, fundraising resources, and guidance for team captains. Your team will also receive personalized support from a dedicated Aprons in Action team member throughout the campaign to help drive engagement and maximize impact.
It’s an inclusive way to boost morale, encourage teamwork, and align your organization with a meaningful national cause, while supporting diabetes research, education, and advocacy across Canada.
Corporate team registration: $1,000 per company. Includes an unlimited number of team members, a guaranteed minimum of three challenge recipes and personalized support.

Win a judging spot at the Aprons in Action Celebration Gala!
The highest fundraising corporate team will earn an exclusive seat at the judges’ table at the Aprons in Action Celebration Gala on World Diabetes Day, November 14, 2026, in Toronto. The winning team can select one representative to join the judging panel, with airfare, two nights’ accommodation, and an unforgettable VIP experience included.
